How We Are Different

How Arevita 360 is different from what is on the market.

Personality tests. Engagement surveys. Burnout scales. Wellbeing indices. Every serious executive assessment measures one pillar in isolation. Arevita 360 is built to measure how those pillars connect — and how the connection shows up on the P&L.

What Most Assessments Do

  • Measure personality — who you are.
  • Measure engagement — how your team feels.
  • Measure burnout — whether you are eroding.
  • Stop at strengths and growth areas.
  • Self-report only.
  • Lack a financial-outcomes thesis.

What Arevita 360 Does

  • Measures the through-line between wellness, behavior and leadership impact.
  • Names the missing metrics — the wellness behaviors that shape performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Surfaces blind spots through paired intent-vs-impact items.
  • Designed from day one for self, team and 360° forms.
  • Built on the financial-outcomes research that ties every measured behavior to revenue, retention and shareholder return.
  • Delivers a bespoke 30 / 60 / 90–day Action Plan — not just a profile.

The Through-Line

Leadership + Wellness = Financial Outcomes.

Arevita 360 measures each link in the chain connecting the through-line from wellness and leadership to financial outcomes.

    01

    Upstream

    Leader wellness

Six pillars of wellness behaviors — physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social, environmental — that determine the leader’s daily state.

    02

    Leader behaviors

Psychological safety, feedback, delegation, mentoring, repair, modeling — what the leader does for and with their team.

    03

    Team experience

Engagement, retention, psychological safety, growth orientation — the conditions the leader’s state and behavior create.

    04

    Customer & stakeholder experience

How the team’s energy and quality of work shows up in the people they serve.

    05

    Downstream

    Financial outcomes

Revenue, retention, profitability, customer ratings, shareholder return — the leadership drivers of organizational performance.

Most leadership programs intervene at steps 3, 4 and 5. Arevita 360 starts where the leverage is — at step 1.

The Service-Profit Chain (Heskett, Sasser, Schlesinger — Harvard Business Review 1994, validated SAGE Open 2024) articulates the causal chain linking leader behavior to revenue.

The Eight Pillars

Each pillar is anchored in research.

Physical

The foundation everything else stands on.

Sleep, movement, nutrition, recovery — the foundational practices that determine daily energy and cognitive bandwidth available for everything else.

Key research: Walker (UC Berkeley, 2017) on sleep and executive function. AASM clinical standards for sleep duration. Phillips (McMaster) on protein. Reynolds (Otago) on fiber. Panda (Salk) on circadian timing.

Mental

Deliberate cognitive capacity.

Focus, decision quality, strategic thinking, creativity, problem-solving, stress and cognitive load management that separate leaders navigating complexity from those reacting to it.

Key research: Goyal et al. (JAMA, 2014) on meditation efficacy. Kahneman on decision-making. Newport on deep work. Tang & Hölzel on contemplative neuroscience.

Spiritual

Meaning as the operating engine.

Purpose, values-action alignment, reflection and awe — what brings cohesive integration to work and life beyond the metrics.

Key research: Frankl on meaning. Steger (2006) on meaning across cultures. Keltner & Stellar (2017) on awe and prosocial behavior. Hill on purpose and resilience.

Emotional

The inner work that shapes outer impact.

Self and social awareness, emotional regulation, compassion, gratitude, forgiveness and psychological flexibility — how a leader responds when pressure is on.

Key research: Gross (Stanford, 2002) on cognitive reappraisal. Neff (UT Austin) on self-compassion. Hayes on ACT. Worthington on forgiveness. Mayer & Salovey on emotional intelligence.

Social

The connections that fortify against adversity.

Close-relationship quality, active listening, supportive workplace relationships, community involvement — the connections that protect against the cost of leadership isolation.

Key research: Waldinger (Harvard Study, 85 years). Holt-Lunstad (2010) on loneliness mortality. Vaillant on adult development. Murthy on connection.

Environmental

The spaces that quietly shape everything.

Home, office, travel — the spaces where significant time is spent — and whether they support or quietly undermine wellness across the other pillars.

Key research: White (Exeter, 2019, Scientific Reports) on nature time. Bratman on green space. Workspace design literature on light, noise, interruption density.

Leader Behaviors

Leadership and wellness in practice.

Psychological safety, feedback, developmental delegation, mentoring, coaching, repair after rupture and modeling personal wellness — the daily practices that shape the leader and the team experience.

Key research: Edmondson (Harvard, 1999) on psychological safety. Google Project Aristotle. Lencioni on trust. Grant on delegation. Kram on mentoring.

Leadership Impact

The visible output of every other pillar.

Presence in high-stakes moments, decision quality under pressure, intentional prioritization, seeking feedback, continued learning and values-driven leadership.

Key research: Goleman (HBR, 2000) on leadership style. Eurich (2018) on self-awareness gap. Drucker on effective executives. Charan on execution.

Methodology

Built to procurement-grade standards.

Every item was selected on three criteria: peer-reviewed evidence base, observable behaviors over abstract beliefs and direct relevance to executive leadership.

01

Item construction grounded in validated research

Each of the 136 core items references a specific study, validated instrument or seminal framework. Where prescriptive thresholds appear (sleep duration, exercise frequency, nature time), they are taken from clinical or epidemiologic evidence and cited in the companion Scientific Foundation Guide.

02

Mixed response scales by item type

Frequency items (“I get 7–9 hours of sleep”) use Never / Rarely / Sometimes / Often / Always. Perception items (“I have a clear sense of purpose”) use Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree. This matches what each construct is actually trying to measure rather than forcing one scale to do everything.

03

20% reverse-coded for bias control

Approximately one in five items is intentionally worded so that high agreement indicates a problem rather than a strength. This breaks acquiescence bias and forces engaged reading of each item, particularly in executive populations who are often experienced assessment-takers.

04

Paired items for blind-spot detection

Certain pairs of items measure the same underlying construct from two angles (behavior + outcome, intent + impact, self-perception + observed reality). The gap between paired-item scores is one of the most diagnostically interesting signals in the report: particularly the Leader Behaviors and Leadership Impact pairing.

05

Blocked-by-pillar administration with within-block randomization

Items are administered in blocks corresponding to the eight pillars, in the canonical order. Item order within each block is randomized per participant. This combination is the established best practice for assessment instruments to control response-set bias, while preserving the user-experience benefits of thematic flow.

06

Two optional add-on modules for extended context

Occupational Wellness and Financial Wellness extend the core 8 pillars when the engagement calls for it. These modules are deployed by coach or organization based on the needs of the individual, team or organization.
